아시아퍼시픽신학원은?

아시아퍼시픽신학대학원은 아시아의 중심에 위치하고 있으며 영어를 주언어로 소통하는 학교 입니다. 팬데믹 기간동안에는 학생들에게 전액 장학금으로 섬겼으며, 새로운 학기부터 모든 대학원 과정의 학생들이 매 학기 250불의 등록비를 내면 모든 학비가 커버 됩니다.

현재 이 학교에는 아시아 태평양 지역의 여러 문화 배경을 가진 학생들이 공부하고 있습니다. 또한 최근 미국이나 다른 영어권 나라의 선진국 학생들도 여기서 공부하고 있습니다. 미국의 경기가 예전 같지 않아서 신학생들이 비싼 학비를 지불해려면 재정적인 부담이 장난이 아닙니다. 특히, 서방권 신학교에서 박사학위를 하려면 많은 돈이 들어갑니다. 또한, 학생들이 미래에 다민족 목회나 선교사역에 관심이 있다면 이 학교는 공부하는 동안 학교자체의 선교적 환경에서 많은 것을 느끼고 배울 수 있읍니다.

교수들이 급여를 받지않은 희생을 통해 학교가 학생들에게 다른 학교가 할 수 없는 많은 배려를 하고 있는 것입니다. 신학교가 이렇게 하는 것이 가장 아름다운 모습 아닐까요? 이 학교는 5개의 우수한 학력인증기관에 등록된 높은 수준의 신학원이고, 교수들의 학술적 배경도 아주 우수하다고 생각합니다.

Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, Baguio, Philippines

Asia Pacific Theological Graduate School that I serve is located in the centre of Asia and communicates in English. During the pandemic, students were served with full scholarships and starting in the new semester, all Master’s level students pay $250 to cover all tuition fees. The PhD fees are also significantly lower.

Currently, students from various cultural backgrounds in the Asia-Pacific region are studying at the school. Also, students from advanced countries like the United States and other English-speaking countries study here. The economy in the U.S., where I am, is not the same as before, so the seminary students pay expensive tuition. In particular, it costs more money to study for a PhD. If students are interested in multi-ethnic pastors or missionary work in the future, our students can feel and learn a lot in a missionary environment while studying here.

Through the sacrifice of professors not being paid, the school gives students a lot of consideration that other schools cannot. Wouldn’t it be the most beautiful thing for a seminary to do this? Our school is a high-level seminary registered with five excellent academic certification institutions, and I think the professors’ educational background is unique.
