Dr David Han, Commissioned to Serve APTS by KPCA Northwest Presbytery, leaves for Baguio in June 2022

Dr David Han (60), has been teaching in Seattle since 2019, through theological education and mission studies, will leave for the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary. He joined the seminary in 2021 and was invited to join the full faculty at Main Campus in Baguio, Philippines.

To this end, the Northwestern Presbytery of KPCA decided to commission him as an official missionary to serve the school. Due to the economic situation of the students in the Asia-Pacific region, all professors at APTS serve without financial compensation.

The seminary was founded over 60 years ago by missionary professors and is one of the most strategically important seminaries that have produced church leaders and missionaries in the Asia-Pacific region.

2019년부터 시애틀에서 신학교육과 선교신학 연구들 통해 사역 하던 한경호 목사/교수 (60)가 2022년 5월중에 아시아퍼시픽신학대학원의 본교 합류를 위해 출국합니다. 2021년 5월부터 동대학원에서 온라인 수업을 시작했으며, 그 해 말에 정교수 (Resident Faculty)로 초대 되어 필리핀 바기오에 있는 매인 캠퍼스로 합류 합니다.

이를 위해, 해외한인장로회 (KPCA) 서북노회가 공식선교사 파송을 결정했습니다. 아시아 태평양 지역 신학생들의 경제적 상황 상 이 대학원 모든 교수들은 선교사로 재정적 보상 없이 학문과 재능을 기부하고 있습니다.

이 신학교는 60여년전에 선교사들에 의해 설립되어 그동안 아시아 태평양 지역의 교회지도자들과 선교사들을 배출한 전략적으로 중요한 신학교중 하나 입니다.
